Extension at Winchelsea School

Winchelsea School is a Special Educational Needs School, and is looking to build an extension to form a Life Skills Base for pupils to develop life skills which their complex needs often restrict.

You are invited to submit a competitive "Fixed Price" tender for the works as specified in the attached Contract Documents.

A copy of the Specification, Contract Drawings and Tender Form are attached.

You are advised to visit the site to satisfy yourself as to the full extent and nature of the works and all conditions which may affect their execution, as no claim on the grounds of lack of knowledge will be entertained.

Please submit your tender on the form provided and submit one copy of the priced up specification.

The priced copy submitted by the successful Contractor will be retained for Contract purposes. Any adjustment to this copy necessary to correct arithmetical or pricing errors will be made in accordance with the principles of the Code of Procedure for Single Stage Tendering 1996, alternative 1, published by the NJCC, after discussion and agreement with the Contractor.

Tenderers are reminded that late tenders will not be considered.

Please note that contract start and end date is to be within the dates indicated. However, it is not expected that the contract will take this long to complete. The timing of the project will be subject to ensuring minimum disruption to the running of the school.
