description

As a public-facing organisation which interacts with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, our website needs to be accessible, interactive, and easy to navigate. Hence, our aim is to create a modern, user-friendly website where users can report any concerns, access key information and publications, book onto training courses, and locate vital support services quickly and efficiently.

Our current website users are almost exclusively professionals, despite the website hosting resources for parents/carers and children/young people. Therefore, the new website should appeal to all our stakeholders, which should be reflected in its design, layout, and structure. This objective is crucial in furthering our reach and serving the needs of Birmingham residents.

This contract will be for an initial period of 36 months commencing from the date of signing, with an option to extend for a further 24 months subject to funding and suitable performance.

Our core objectives for the new website are as follows:

? Build our brand

  • oA modern, interactive template incorporating our branding and materials.

? Reach our target audiences

  • oAppeal to practitioners from a wide range of professional backgrounds, as well as children and families. ? Communicate latest information
  • oFacilitate regular information updates for our website users.

? User-friendly

  • oClear and streamlined structure which allows users to navigate the website with ease.

? Accessible

  • oAll webpages fully compliant with accessibility guidelines, ensuring that all website users can access our content. ? Support our Learning Management System requirements
  • oNeeds to be able to support our current Learning Management System, which we will continue to use alongside the new website. ? Strong support system
  • oResponsive customer support, training to be provided to BSCP staff and regular reports on the website's performance.
