WMG ACRC Preform Facility WMG-04-16-ACRC-PREFORMER-KK

The University of Warwick, Warwick Manufacturing Group, has a requirement for a turn-key composite manufacturing preforming facility to enable research into high-volume processing of structural composites for automotive light-weighting. The facility will significantly increase composite preforming capacity in terms of component size, accuracy and efficiency at WMG. The preformer will enable WMG to demonstrate the entire production process from cutting and forming of organised fibre arrays from rolls and mats though the moulding process to finished and trimmed components.
