description

Bristol City Council City Transport service is seeking to set up a new contract Framework for the supply and installation, to include all groundworks, of new on and off street/highway cycle hangars. These hangars will provide for up to six accessible Sheffield type, or similar, cycle stands in a weather resistant lockable steel shelter/hangar. Foundation details for on street shelters will include shallow concrete foundations, to which the hangar is bolted with traffic bollards at four corners of hangar. For off street locations concrete foundations and bollard requirements may not apply.

The Council is seeking to have this Framework in place for the end of September 2022. The Council has funding in place for the call off of between 20-30 cycle hangars, to be installed before the end of March 2023. The focus of this will be solely on Council owned housing and tower blocks and will not be on street or highway.

We would be grateful if you could indicate whether you would be interested in bidding for this Contract. If you would like to discuss further details please contact Jodie Ancrum at Jodie.ancrum@bristol.gov.uk.
