description

BIS Research & Evaluation Framework - Lot 3

The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) is a joint government and industry programme, directed at activities related to research, development and commercialisation of new low carbon propulsion technologies and is a key part of the government's Industrial Strategy.

The aim of the evaluation is to deliver timely and ongoing results on the effectiveness of the APC programme in achieving its core aims, which is to raise competitiveness, sustain and grow UK market share globally, by increasing R&D investment for low carbon propulsion technologies, raising wages and high valued added employment, and generating technology spillovers. BEIS is committed to evaluating all its spend programmes. This work also fulfils that commitment.
