description

NHSE/I are developing at pace the development of an elective recovery strategy which will support patients to receive high quality timely care as local health systems recover from the impact of the pandemic.

The National Outpatient Transformation Programme has included a focus on initiatives to reduce unnecessary outpatient activity, including through use of Patient Initiated Follow Up models. To enhance this programme NHSE/I is commissioning a partner to provide subject matter expertise, capacity, and development of an alternative model to current outpatient delivery.

The commission is for a programme of work to develop this key and challenging work programme for up to a 5 month period.

The authority tendered this through the MCF3, Lot 2 framework.
