CP1088-14 Ivybridge Recycling Centre Re-Tender

In accordance with the requirements of the Public Contract Regulations 2015, we have included for bidder information the Invitation to Tender (For Information Only Volumes 0 to 5.zip). Bidders wishing to express their interest in participating in this procurement must do so by returning a duly completed Pre-Qualification Questionnaire. Bidders should make no attempt to return any element of the Invitation to Tender at this stage. The works comprise the construction of a new junction with Ermington Road and access road which leads to a central service yard and perimeter 'drop off' route for the public. The service yard will be sunken below the level of the public area and requires the construction of approximately 250 m reinforced concrete retaining wall and 1,400 sq. m reinforced concrete service yard. The site will include approximately 3,700 sq. m highway. In addition the site requires the construction of a drainage network with separate systems for foul water, surface water and groundwater. The foul drainage requires the construction of a pumping station with rising main connection to an existing pumping station off site. The surface drainage includes the construction of swales, attenuation basins and gravity connection from the site to the River Erme. Interceptors will be required for both foul and surface drainage. A sales and welfare building will be constructed as a design and build package within the contract and will include rainwater harvesting and solar water heating. Site works also entail the construction of earthwork bunds, fencing and landscaping. The estimated cost of the works is £2.5 million
