description

The Public Health Department of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) and the City of Westminster (WCC) have awarded a contract to deliver a Peer Led Service across the borough of Kensington and Chelsea to Build on Belief (BoB). BoB delivers a unique weekend open access drop in service and aims to give service users access to opportunities that they cannot obtain through conventional treatment and rehabilitation systems. BoB bases its approach on the New Economic Foundation's Five Ways to Wellness approach. This includes skills development, sport, music and arts clubs, friendship and mutual psychological support. Participants and their families are signposted to other community events and services to reduce isolation and increase re-integration into mainstream communities and activities.

The contract is for a period of two (2) years.
