Other additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.

Wandsworth Borough Council (the \"Council\") is inviting tenders from suitably experienced and qualified contractors for the provision of residential care and nursing care in registered care homes for older people, adults with mental health issues and adults with physical and/or sensory disabilities in accordance with the Specification at Volume 2 (the \"Services\").

The Council has established an open accredited framework (the \"Framework\") which will operate for a period of four years commencing on 3 April 2017 but subject to an extension or extensions of up to an aggregate of two further years at the absolute discretion of the Council.

The Council is establishing the Framework primarily for use by itself. The London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames (\"Richmond\") will be able to call off from the Framework however it is anticipated that the volume of Services called off from the Framework by Richmond will be very low, if any.
