Governance Development Programme

Building on the current GDP programme, the ETF seeks to develop its support further, taking into account current teaching, learning and assessment approaches, research into effective learning and CPD. The successful tenderer will be expected to review existing materials (revising if necessary) before these same principles are applied to the design of the new modules, webinars/ podcasts and resources. All current GDP modules will be made available to the successful tenderer. Tenderers can view some existing module scripts and training schedules for their reference in Annex D part 1 and part 2.

We would like tenderers to propose how they would design sector-focussed, learning resources that support governors and governance professionals across different college settings. We are open to new ideas around delivery, course content and pedagogical approaches and expect tenderers to submit responses that are both evidence and research-led.
