Bidder information day - Southend-on-Sea Drug & Alcohol Prevention, Early Intervention, Treatment & Recovery System

Southend Drug and Alcohol Commissioning Team (Southend DACT), on behalf of Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, are seeking views from key stakeholders about the drug and alcohol prevention, treatment and recovery system it should commission across the Borough from December 2017.

Following on from our consultation and information days we've held previously for the Southend-on-Sea Drug & Alcohol Prevention, Early Intervention, Treatment & Recovery System, the decision has been reached that Southend-on-Sea Borough Council will only be tendering for the provision of adult drug and alcohol services at this stage.

We will be holding a bidders information day and this session will provide an opportunity for the Council to present the proposed service model and gather feedback from the market. Providers will have an opportunity to propose solutions for innovative service delivery and ask questions about the tender process.

The bidders information day will be held in on Thursday 1st June 2017, at 10am in Committee Room 1 at Southend-on-Sea Borough Council, Civic Centre, Victoria Avenue, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. There is limited parking available in the public car parks surrounding the Civic Centre, and if you are using a satnav to find us please use the postcode SS2 6LR.

As the event is being held in Committee Room 1, and as this is a public room we would ask that you make your way directly to the committee room on the first floor rather than going to reception.
