Public Health Sexual Health Services Market Engagement Event

This event will provide an opportunity for potential providers to understand the challenges, interventions and desired outcomes for the services, enable the potential formation of provider consortia, explore opportunities for innovation and enable organisations to effectively plan for the forthcoming procurement which we hope to be in a position to advertise in the Spring of 2020 well in advance of the contract expiring on 31st March, 2021.

Procurement of the Integrated Sexual Health Services in Rotherham Market Engagement Event will take place:

Monday 9th December 2019

The Garden Room, Rotherham Town Hall, The Crofts, Moorgate Street, Rotherham, S60 2TH

9.00am - 12.00pm

Some of the services currently in scope are: STI testing and treatment (excluding HIV treatment), provision of contraception (including LARC, condom distribution schemes and emergency contraception), outreach to vulnerable groups, public health, health promotion and prevention including HIV prevention, chlamydia screening and Out of Area GU Medicine management.

The aim of the event is to canvass views to shape future procurement activity.

This is not a call for tenders and/or responses.

Interested providers are invited to this Market Engagement Event which is intended as an awareness, communication and information gathering exercise. The event will offer an opportunity to help understand future commissioning intentions and offer opportunities to network, forge partnerships and start thinking about service delivery models with other providers.

Please note this exercise is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process.

It is neither the intention nor the purpose of this event to confer any advantage upon its participants in any future procurement processes. This therefore does not represent a commitment from Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council to award a contract or issue an invitation to tender to any provider that expresses an interest in this market engagement event.
