- Overview
- A requirement has arisen for an artificial oral fluid to be synthesized. The artificial oral fluid will be bespoke, and must be synthesized according to the composition given in Table 1 of the Appendix.
- Once synthesised the artificial oral fluid must then be used as a matrix for the preparation, validation and supply of a series of defined standard solutions which will be used in the development and evaluation of drug testing technologies.
- Solutions with mixtures of controlled substances and single uncontrolled substances are required. The compositions of the solutions are given in Tables 2 to 3 in the Appendix.
- Solutions are required on a call off basis over a 24 month period. Therefore, it is anticipated that the overall value of the contract detailed on this notice is for a 24 month period.
- Deadline for queries on this notice is 13th April 2016 by 17:00hrs.
