description
Organisations must register their interest against this advert in order to receive any changes or notifications issued by the Council during this tender process.
The Council will not be held responsible for lack of communication to any organisation who does not register their interest. Bracknell Forest Council's Adult Social Care Health and Housing department is seeking to commission a provider to implement and operate the SwC scheme in strict accordance and compliance with the Specification and SwC licence.
The service will include providing a vetting and approval process for approving suitable PAs, who operate as self employed individuals, ensuring that they attend appropriate training, have appropriate insurance as well as assessing people at the point of a request for a service, and matching PAs to people who use the service. The provider will also manage and maintain a SwC website and attend contract monitoring meetings with the Council. The full details are in the specification at Appendix B. Existing PAs will remain registered with the SwC scheme, unless they indicate otherwise.
The provider will not be required to approve the PAs again, however, the Provider will be responsible for ensuring that on an ongoing basis all the requirements of the SwC scheme are met e.g. DBS's are renewed.
Total contract value is based on maximum term of five years.
Additional information: The contract duration will be for a maximum of five years, covering an initial period of three years plus 2 optional extensions, each of one year i.e. 3 + 1 + 1.
The estimated contract range is £44,000 to £46,000 per annum. Bids above the maximum limit may be rejected. For more information please contact contracts.team@bracknell-forest.gov.uk
