SC23192 - DFC2023 - Mini Competition - A227 Wrotham Rd, Gravesend Scheme

The Drainage Works Framework 2023 (SC22331) is used to support Kent County Council's current contracts (Highway Term Maintenance Contract, Road Asset Renewal Contract and others) to maintain it network.

The drainage works consist of the provision of labour, resources, plant and materials to carry out all works associated with drainage maintenance works and general reinstatement works on both highway and non-highway sites.

Works under £25k are awarded via direct award on a rotation basis.

Works over £25k are awarded via a mini-competition process.

This notice pertains to a mini-competition exercise that was carried out under the Drainage Works Framework 2023.

Details of this mini-competition are below listed below:

• Aim: to find a Contractor to deliver the A227 Wrotham Rd, Gravesend scheme.
• Dates: The scheme needs to be delivered between the 31 October 2023 to 09 November 2023.
• The scheme is to deliver the following outputs:
• Full Road Closure and diversion,
• Advance warning boards to be deployed 30 days prior to start,
• Letter drop to residents 30 day prior to start,
• Carriageway reinforcement,
• Carriageway resurfacing and releveling of road surface to alleviate

flooding issues.
