QU441 - Accountancy and tax support related to pension schemes

The Council and PETPS(Birmingham) Limited require an accountancy and tax adviser principally to support the preparation of the appropriate accounting and tax information related to the NEC Limited Pension Fund and the NEC Executive Pension Scheme.

This contract will be for a period of 30 months commencing 1st February 2021 until 31st July 2023. The advice will cover the time required within this to complete the accounts for the years ended 31st March 2021 and 31st March 2022.

Aims Objectives and Purpose:

To prepare accounting disclosures and prepare or review (as required), draft company and partnership accounts within tight deadlines.

To ensure that company and partnership tax returns are completed within deadlines.

Outputs and Statement of Requirements / Scope:

To prepare the draft accounts at 31st March 2021 and 31st March 2022 under FRS102 for PETPS (Birmingham) Limited over the period March/early April 2021 and 2022.

To undertake a high level review of the draft accounts at 31st March 2021 and 31st March 2022 under FRS102 of:

• oPETPS (Birmingham) Capital Limited
• oPETPS(Birmingham) General Partner Limited
• oNEC Pension Trustee Company Limited
• oNEC Pension Trustee Company No.2 Limited

The review to be completed, and marked up accounts submitted to the Council within one week of receipt of the accounts in March/April 2021 and 2022.
