RFQ for the Provision of Cleaning Materials - AWARD

Oxford City Council has a budget per annum on a variety of cleaning materials to maintain the cleanliness requirements at the Oxford Town Hall and Community Centres:

The main sites that will require cleaning materials are (during the contract other locations in Oxford may require deliveries):

• oOxford Town Hall - St. Aldates, Oxford, OX1 1BX
• oRose Hill Community Centre - Carole's Way, Rose Hill, Oxford, OX4 4HF
• oBarton Neighbourhood Centre - Underhill Circus, Headington, Oxford OX3 9LS
• oEast Oxford Community Centre, 44 Princes St, Oxford, OX4 1DD*
• oBlackbird Leys Community Centre, Blackbird Leys Rd, Oxford, OX4 6HW*

*These sites are currently under re-development

Products:

The majority of the products required are contained within the pricing schedule. The main items we would require are:

• oGeneral Purpose Cleaners
• oBathroom Cleaners
• oGlass Cleaners
• oDisinfectants
• oGloves
• oHand Soaps and Sanitizers
• oSanitary Paper Products
• oCleaning Equipment and Accessories
• oOther Chemical Cleaning Products

In the event that the Supplier is unable to provide a specified product, the Supplier will be expected to propose a substitute product of equivalent or superior quality. A substitute shall only be supplied if the Council has confirmed its acceptance of the substitute.

The Council is committed wherever possible to the use of environmentally friendly products.

It should be noted that the requirements and scope of products to be supplied will vary during the period of this Contract.
