Brief Description of Requirement:

UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS), on behalf of The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) wishes to appoint a supplier to undertake the Testing of a selection of toys to verify compliance with the following Regulations (and any amendments to these):

Directive 2001/95/EC - General Product Safety Regulations

The test methods applied should follow harmonised standards the reference numbers of which have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union, or other reliable, accurate and reproducible calculation and measurement methods, which take into account the generally recognised state of the art.

This contract will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria as set out in the ITQ document.
