Demolish and Rebuild Outbuildings 2017

The Council is looking to carry out a procurement process for the demolition, relocation and rebuilding of six outbuildings that have been subject to vandalism by fire. It is our intention to rebuild them on the same location but moved away from the block of flats

A new opportunity Notice Form will be published in the coming months and the Council is keen to see if there are suppliers who are interested in this opportunity.

Additional information: The council have a block of low rise flats and a block of six outbuildings which are used by tenants and leaseholders for storage. The outbuildings have become the target of vandalism by fire. It is our intention to demolish this block and move to a less concealed area on the same location and easily seen from the flats to deter possible further attempts of vandalism.

It is also our intention to erect steel rail fencing painted green with brick built walls to the perimeter of the frontage of these flats, the outbuildings are to be rebuilt and individual storage areas for each flats rubbish and recycling bins, this is to discourage leaving bins close to the flats.
