description

Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG) and Brighton and Hove City Council (the Council) (collectively known as the Commissioners) are seeking proposals for the provisions of services which will form the Community Roots service, an integrated service providing community mental health and wellbeing services to adults in Brighton and Hove.

The specification (Schedule 1) sets out the Commissioners' priorities and outcomes for a mental health and wellbeing support service for adults (18 years and over). Priorities and outcomes have been informed by national and local strategy, an assessment of local need and engagement with a wide range of people and stakeholders

The service will deliver a broad range of non- clinical prevention, wellbeing and recovery support and will offer people choice over the type of support accessed. The service as a non-clinical service is not responsible for providing clinical treatment and interventions rather it will provide psychosocial and wellbeing support to complement clinical services across a range of mental health and wellbeing need

The Commissioners will award one contract to a Provider responsible for the co-ordination and the delivery of the Community Roots service and its associated outcomes. Services may be provided by a number of organisations/sub-contractors.

The Commissioners invite competent bidders who are able to provide such services to respond to this Invitation to Tender for a contract for an initial period of five years with an option for the Commissioners to extend that contract for up to 2 further years, subject to agreement.
