description
Scope
The successful delivery of the brief will require well designed and meaningful engagement with local communities and key stakeholders across the CLIP area. The formation of this prototype CLIP provides the opportunity to embed co-production and co-operative council principles into the Council’s approach to investment in infrastructure. In order to enable this, there must be an effective and collaborative relationship between councillors, officers, citizens and the Stockwell CLIP steering group.
In order to achieve these objectives, the scope of works will include:
- a.Support to Vassall and Coldharbour Forum engagement plans in the first stage to July to gather ideas for projects and priorities (events, and an off and on-line survey that can be rolled out to other CLIP areas)
- b.Design and deliver the engagement process and “test of opinion” for the CLIP (formal consultation is not required). This should include the delivery of up to 4 workshops / engagement sessions across the CLIP area (support will be available from the Stockwell CLIP Steering Group) and a number of innovative, smaller, more informal engagement activities to ensure that all citizens who wish to participate in the process are able to do so. Other engagement activities may include the use of message boards, walkabouts, pop-up events, or SNAP surveys on social media, for example.
- c.Design and deliver materials to support the engagement produce such as maps to display existing assets and allow citizens to plot their priorities (with support from LSBU).
- d.Design and deliver the Stockwell CLIP document and decision-making process so that final priorities are arrived at through a transparent, collaborative and fair process. The document should be short, easily understood and present evidence, data and projects in an easily understood and highly visual format. It should be in a replicable standard format that can be rolled out to other CLIP areas.
- e.Work with regeneration team to ensure that Lambeth colleagues responsible for the delivery of infrastructure can contribute to the design and delivery of CLIPs
- f.Produce a final report detailing activities undertaken and recommending a framework and plan for the roll-out of CLIPs across the borough. It is envisaged this will comprise a suite of materials (methods, surveys, event plans, materials, presentation of evidence etc)
- g.Attend up to 3 meetings of the Stockwell CLIP steering group and to present findings at a briefing for ward Councillors.
