Overview of Requirement
Baby Massage
We would like to purchase an accredited face to face Baby Massage training programme to train 40 workers countywide, including Early Help workers, within the financial envelope available.
Train the Trainer model
Additionally, we would like to purchase an accredited face to face Baby Massage Train the Trainer model to 8 workers, who have had previous experience of delivering baby massage to parent facing classes to Mums, Dads and carers. The training provider must be a current accredited training provider for the delivery of this activity.
Undertaking this training in a phased way up to March 2024 will help to embed practice. The training programme will need to be flexible to ensure that practitioners have the time planned to participate in the programme.
Bids must include access to and cost of training, staffing time, and quality of training.
The training delivery period is anticipated to be across approximately three months between January 2024 and 31 March 2024. KCC will coordinate a list of delegates and the provider will be responsible for the overall administration, including the invitation and booking of attendees.
The Provider must have demonstrable experience in delivering this training. The provider should be familiar with all processes associated with training delivery including training agendas and delegate feedback forms.
The training programmes needs to be relevant to practice and mindful of learning styles, ensuring equitable accessibility when required. Training should be participatory, interactive and include opportunities to engage throughout.
Outcomes and Delegate Feedback
The provider will ensure that feedback from delegates attending the programme informs continual development and shapes potential future baby massage training arrangements.
