9709 - Eleanor Road -Concrete repairs and roof replacement

The council requires a single supplier to provide structural and civil engineering maintenance and repair works to tenanted low rise properties which are being managed by NPS Norwich Ltd - property services team.

Maintenance and repair works are required to a range of structural defects. The scope of works comprises of the three storey building.

The following works will be undertaken:

• ocarry out all necessary preparation to brickwork and remove defective paint coatings
• ocut out the outer leaf of brickwork for the full height of the building to expose 5 no. steelwork stanchions
• oremove all signs of corrosion from stanchions, fully prepare and apply red oxide primer/rust inhibitor to exposed steel flanges
• ostitch in new brickwork to close off stanchions
• oundertake concrete repairs to exposed beams, lintels
• oundertake brick repairs to elevations and parapets, provide lead sheathing to parapet to north east gable end
• oundertake partial (25% approx.) re-roof of clay pantile roof, re-instate close boarding, breather felt, battens and counter battens
• oreplace timber fascia boards with UPVC fascia boards
• oreplace black pvc half round gutters with aluminium box gutters and rainwater pipes
• oundertake complete external redecoration of external brickwork
• oundertake complete external redecoration of timber/steel windows
