Invitation to Quote for the Supply of Recruitment Services (Care & Support) for Shropshire, Hereford, West & East Midlands and Preston

Midland Heart are looking to procure for a Recruitment Services contractor(s) to provide temporary recruitment solutions to areas in Shropshire, Hereford, West & East Midlands & Preston.

The purpose of this contract is to provide recruitment services to Midland Heart as and when required for temporary care and support staff. This contract will ensure that the Midland Heart Care & Support directorate continue to meet its staff requirements whilst achieving value for money and high quality services.

Midland Heart has its own internal staff bank called Pathways. In accordance with internal procedures, Pathways must always be the first point of contact for Midland Heart Care & Support staff in the event of any temporary staff requirements in order to identify whether the vacancy can be filled by Pathways before providing the opportunity to the contractors on the framework. Therefore, as a condition of this contract, Midland Heart shall only release vacancy opportunities to the framework contractors where Pathways is unable to meet the requirements in the first instance. In all instances contractors on the framework will be approached in ranked order when approached and will under the relevant lot call off contract.

Currently there are 9 lots covering the geographical areas of West & East Midlands and Herefordshire for our current framework with a maximum of 3 contractors for each lot.

NOTE: The contractor(s) will be part of an existing framework and will be the 3rd ranked supplier on award. The lots that are available are:

Lot 1 – West Midlands (Support Staff) – 3rd ranked supplier slot available Lot 2 – West Midlands (Care Staff) – 3rd ranked supplier slot available Lot 3 – West Midlands (Registered Nurse) – 3rd ranked supplier slot available Lot 4 – East Midlands (Support Staff) – 3rd ranked supplier slot available Lot 5 – East Midlands (Care Staff) – 3rd ranked supplier slot available Lot 6 – East Midlands (Registered Nurse) – 3rd ranked supplier slot available Lot 7 – Herefordshire (Support Staff) – 3rd ranked supplier slot available Lot 8 – Herefordshire (Care Staff) – 3rd ranked supplier slot available Lot 9 – Herefordshire (Registered Nurse) – 3rd ranked supplier slot available

NOTE: The Shropshire and Preston lot will sit outside of the above mentioned framework and will have only two awarded contractor(s).
