Canterbury City Council (\"the Council\") wishes to select and appoint a suitable supplier for the provision of Public Convenience Cleansing and Maintenance Services and invites tenderers to submit a tender to meet the Council's requirements. The Contractor is required to clean, maintain and, where possible, enhance the public conveniences in accordance with this Specification. The Contractor is primarily responsible for ensuring that all of the Council's public conveniences are available to the public during the stated opening hours and cater for the needs of all the public as far as reasonably practicable.

The Contractor is required to adopt a holistic approach ensuring all work is co-ordinated so as to present a seamless service to residents and visitors. The Contractor is expected to take full ownership of all problems and service requests in accordance with this Specification and takes prompt and appropriate action in order to maintain high customer satisfaction levels throughout the term of the Contract.
