Provision Portable Toilets

Scarborough Borough Council is conducting a competitive tender for the provision of portable toilets for the Scarborough Open Air Theatre and any other events.

Contract Type and Term of Agreement :Framework contract for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further two year period, renewable annually (2+1+1).

Background

Scarborough Borough Council is the owner and operator of the Open Air Theatre.

This season (2018) the Council is finalising an Annual programme of acts and events that the Council wishes to hold at the venue. The Council will be granting a contract to one suitably qualified and experienced Company or organisation to provide the toilet facilities for the main events.

No of Events - Up to 20 per annum

Key Period - April - September

Times - 5pm - 11pm (these time may vary depending on Gates and Show finish time)

At the present time there are 9 events booked where toilet facilities are required. These are

In addition there are a further 11 date's currently in negotiation which will require the provision of toilet facilities. Please note as some dates are back to back it will be necessary to empty toilets on site and not remove them. This should be reflected in the charge for the service.

This contract allows for any other events Scarborough Borough Council may manage during the course of this framework agreement.
