description
The Council is in the process of setting up a Local Authority Trading Company, and is looking to procure a software package and information systems, either in the name of the Local Authority Trading Company or in the Council's name, to support the provision of refuse, recycling and street cleansing services. It is envisaged the new digital solution be available from 21st January 2021 onwards.
The Council is undergoing a significant transformation programme to put our customers at the heart of everything we do. As a part of our early engagement with the market, we will share our insight into the needs, journeys and scenarios that our customers face when accessing waste and street cleansing services. We will also be explicit about the way we want the new contract to be digitally-led and technology-driven to ensure staff can work efficiently and effectively in delivering one of our most valued and universal services.
Interested parties are invited to attend a Market Research Day on Tuesday 26 November 2019. A maximum of three (3) representatives per economic operator will be permitted to attend. It is planned the Market Research Day will be held at Canterbury City Council offices, Military Road, Canterbury, CT1 1YW
Interview sessions will be exclusive to your company and last for up to 90 minutes maximum. This will be issued on a first served basis.
Please register your interest in attending this day by responding directly on the Kent Business portal. Please confirm your attendance along with the representatives by 15 November 2019.
