Provision of the Delivery of The Future Skills Development Programme

Chesterfield Borough Council is seeking applications for projects to be delivered under the Future Skills Development Fund between 1 April 2024 and 31st March 2025. The Future Skills Development Fund seeks to provide funding for up to four projects in Chesterfield that provide innovative approaches to addressing local skills gaps and increasing capacity within local skills provision, particularly in the areas of digital, STEM and green skills provision.

The fund will support activity that address gaps in local skills provision and increase capacity for the delivery of 'future skills' in local skills provision locally. We are seeking to work with up to three organisations to deliver projects that address gaps in provision in the areas of STEM Skills, Low Carbon and Sustainability and Digital.

• £50,000 is available for LOT 1 (STEM Skills); providing both capital and revenue funding of £30,000 and £20,000
• £55,000 is available for LOT 2 (Low Carbon and Sustainability); providing both capital and revenue funding of £35,000 and £20,000.
• £55,000 is available for LOT 3 (Digital); providing both capital and revenue funding of £35,000 and £20,000.
