Facilities Management Soft Services Early Market Engagement Prior Information Notice

The Awarding Authority are seeking to enter into a five-year partnership with innovative partners who can offer significant added value to provide Soft FM Services for its Clients. They must also be prepared to have effective collaboration with the Hard FM providers and the Estates & Facilities Management Teams.

This document has been issued by Place Partnership Limited which is at an early stage of developing a procurement strategy for Soft Facilities Management Services (Soft FM) Framework. Any participation in a future tender exercise will not be prejudiced should your company respond or decide not to complete this document, nor is the completion of this document a guarantee of invitation to participate in a future tendering exercise.

The new approach to Soft FM services is of strategic importance to Place Partnership and is keen to build close partnerships with its delivery partners in order to more robustly demonstrate quality, social value, best practice at an affordable cost to our clients.

The contract agreement will be for an initial 5-year term, with the option to extend for a further 1 year.

This long term commitment should go a long distance to engender a strong partnering ethos that we are ultimately aiming to achieve.

The precise form, structure, scope and duration of the proposed procurement opportunity are still to be determined by Place Partnership.

This notice gives prior information of a procurement process that will establish a Soft Services FM Framework in 3 lots:

Soft FM (Cleaning, Catering, Concierge Services etc.) Security (Manned & Mobile) Waste Management (Commercial & Hazardous)

The intent is to brief suppliers on the proposed new integrated Soft Services Facilities Management framework; how the new framework will support Place Partnership and it's clients. The objective is to offer a fully compliant high quality professional facility management service capable of delivering most property related requirements to the many public sector clients who currently do not have the right arrangements in place.
