CHILD SEX EXPLOITATION PREVENTION SERVICE

The Service required is the delivery of a prevention and reduction service for those children assessed as being at risk of sexual exploitation. The provider will be a proactive strategic and operational partner and shall undertake actions such as sharing data, intelligence and good practice in relation to child sexual exploitation and missing children. The service will also provide independent return interviews for all children reported as missing.

Tenderers should note that from 1 April 2018, provision of children's social care services is to be transferred to Sandwell Children's Social Care Trust. This includes the service for which tenders are now invited. It is anticipated that the Council will award the contract for this service and then novate the contract when the Trust commences service delivery. Tenderers are referred to clause 21.3 of the form of contract (Section E).
