UOW836 - External Audit Services

The current External Audit contract expired in 2021 following the signing of the Annual 20/21 financial accounts therefore we are looking to review the current market to gain insight as to whether there is appetite and capacity in the marketplace for these services.

At this stage of engaging the market, the University is looking to understand the level of interest in working with us as this will determine if we use a pre-existing framework such as HE or CCS or if we go to the open market for our solution.

In parallel to this exercise in market engagement, workshops are being organised internally to gather and define a complete scope, a detailed set of requirements, appropriate evaluation methods and weightings, and metrics to measure the success of the implementation and operation of the solution.

The output of this market engagement exercise will help to shape these captured requirements, so that the intended formal procurement that will follow this stage is fit for purpose when it is published.
