Provision of site presentation, interpretation & commercial consultancy services

Royal Armouries is seeking the services of an experienced consultancy to develop a tested and costed plan for the improvement of the presentation, interpretation and experience of Fort Nelson in Hampshire. The plan is required to be delivered in its final form by the end of June 2018.

Additional information: Royal Armouries is seeking the services of an experienced consultancy to develop a tested and costed plan for the improvement of the presentation, interpretation and experience of Fort Nelson in Hampshire. The consultancy will also be required to explore the feasibility of opportunities to enhance the financial resilience of the Fort through initiatives which align with the new offer. The plan is required to be delivered in its final form by the end of June 2018.

Tenderers should note that we are not seeking a masterplan. Whilst it will be important to keep the bigger picture in mind, we are seeking to define a series of improvements in the short to medium term (three to five years) rather than a wholesale redevelopment. The emphasis for this project is on the re-presentation of the Victorian fort and the opportunities that arise from that exercise.
