NHS Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wish to carry out an innovation stimulation process in the field of mental health and learning disabilities. The process will allow organisations from across all sectors [collaborative working across sectors and/or across pathways will be encouraged] to access funding for a 12 month period to test initiatives which will support the CCG in attaining the outcomes they wish to achieve for people with a mental health condition and or a learning disability. Below are the objectives which the CCG wish to effect positive change within:

-Reduce the number of people under the age of 75 years dying as a result of respiratory disease.
-Reduce the number of people with serious mental illness dying before the age of 75 years.
-Increase the number of people who are supported to manage their conditions themselves.
-Support people with the psychological impact of long term conditions in order to prevent hospital admissions.
-Increase the number of people from BME communities accessing community mental health services and psychological therapies.
-Reduce the number of people being admitted to hospital with mental health disorders.
-Improve the transition of children and young people from CAMHS into adult mental health services.
-Reduce the length of time people with mental health conditions and or learning disabilities stay in hospital.
-Improve access to community provision for people with a...nviting expressions of interest from organisations. A market engagement event has been arranged for 17th July 2015 from 14:00-17:00 and will be held at Billingham Forum, The Causeway, Town Centre, Billingham, Stockton-on-Tees, TS23 2LJ. The purpose of this event will be to outline the CCGs requirements, detail the procurement process and will also provide a networking opportunity for potential provider organisations who wish to explore collaborative working. To register your interest in attending this event please register on the NECS E-Tendering portal (https://in-tendhost.co.uk/necs), express an interest in this opportunity (NECS168) and complete the Market Engagement Registration Form which can be found in the document set. Please send the completed form as a correspondence message. Please note that organisations are limited to a maximum of 2 representatives due to the anticipated level of interest.
