SPS 2259 - Electrical Installation Condition Report Compliance for Dwellings, Common Parts and Landlord's Electrical Intake Cupboards

The Royal Borough of Greenwich requires Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for their domestic and communal areas housing stock with associated remedial works plus electrical safety upgrade works to Landlords electrical intake cupboards be carried out .The Electrical Installations shall be Inspected and tested and associated remedial works carried out in order to obtain either Satisfactory rated final EICR certification for each dwelling and common parts installation and/or an appropriate Electrical Installation Certificate. All carried out in accordance with the requirements of BS7671:2018 /A1 2020/ (18th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations). The procurement seeks tenders for carrying out a programme of Electrical Installation Condition Reporting (EICR) compliance and work arising to the Royal Borough's tenanted housing dwellings and associated communal electrical intake areas. The Royal Borough is intending to appoint two contractors, one to each of the Lots described within Documents 6 and 7. The work is to be undertaken in accordance with the requirements of the IET BS 7671 Wiring Regulations 18th Edition A1 and any subsequent amendments and includes any remedial work stemming from the EICRs. This contract was awarded in two lots:

Lot 1 was awarded to Re-Gen (M&E Services) at a value of £439,803.20.

Lot 2 was awarded to RGE Services at a value of £297,930.45.

Total value of contract = £737,733.65
