description

The University of Nottingham currently contracts a 'hopper bus service' to provide transport for students and staff needing to travel between its campuses. The service comprises 5 routes from University Park campus to sites in Nottingham and the East Midlands, with around 950,000 passenger journeys per year.

The University is undertaking pre market engagement on its future intercampus transport requirements to better understand the current market and to shape the future specification(s), lots and contracting style(s).

As part of this, the University is seeking expressions of interest from experienced providers to deliver intercampus transport services that are high quality and passenger-focused, and can respond to changing needs as the University's estate develops and continually innovate to deliver value for money.

Services are to commence on 1 August 2018, with anticipated contract terms up to 5 years.

For further details please contact Cheryl Choong Lewis (cheryl.choonglewis@nottingham.ac.uk). Deadline for completed submissions is 12 noon on Friday 17 November 2017.
