Planned Works, Design & Installation of Kitchens and Rewires

Bristol City Council is seeking to potentially re-tender Planned Works, Design & Installation of Kitchens and Rewires and carry out Pre-Market Engagement activity by initiating a Soft Market Testing Exercise. Submission Deadline: 19.3.2018, noon GMT. Please complete supplier registration process via https://procontract.due-north.com to be able to participate. A questionnaire is available for downloading and completing via the portal ref DN326996. 500 Kitchens & an estimated 125 full rewires with the Kitchens. The scope is for one contractor to annually carry out the design and installation of 500 new domestic kitchens (inset sink, units, worktops, tiles, decorations) and rewire of the Kitchen as per the specification in council owned properties managed by Housing Services. The work will include arranging access, surveying the property, designing the kitchen layout and or locations of electrical sockets. Works will be issued using a Schedule Of rates list and subject to the tendered percentage adjustment. Where the property having a new kitchen requires a full rewire the scope will be for the design and full rewire including consumer unit replacement as per the specification in Council owned domestic properties. The work will include arranging access, surveying the property, designing the layout and or locations of electrical sockets. Works will be issued using a Schedule Of rates list and subject to the tendered percentage adjustment. Rewires will be on a need basis therefore there is no guarantee of work for full house Rewires.
