Swindon Borough Council have authorised the demolition of Carlton Street and Wyvern Multi Storey Car Parks including the associated footbridges and Princes Street Footbridge.
The tender invitation is for a Design and Build contract.
The demolition is planned to take place in three phases as follows:
- Phase 1 - Carlton Street Multi-Storey Car Park together with the connecting footbridge to the Bus Station.
- Phase 2 - Wyvern Multi-Storey Car Park together with the connecting footbridge to the Wyvern Theatre.
- Phase 3 – Princes Street footbridge and reinstatement works
