The Opportunity This is an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for a contract to supply and install car park counting equipment at four car parks in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Car park counting equipment is used in car parks in major towns in Kent and feeds in to the central traffic control systems for dissemination to road users via Variable Message Signs and the Kent Traffic Information website. Background Kent County Council (the council) is the largest county council in England covering an area of 3,500 square kilometres. It has an annual expenditure of over £900m on goods and services and a population of 1.3m. The Council provides a wide range of personal and strategic services on behalf of its residents, operating in partnership with 12 district councils and 289 parish/town councils.
