description
NWL CCG, requires a locally based support service in Westminster for people with Personality Disorder (PD), now called 'Complex Emotional Needs' or those with on-going personality related difficulties in work, training or social interactions.
Key services required include:
-Regular one-to-one sessions with specialist support staff using a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) model and Psycho-Analytical Theory.
-Outreach into A&E departments, Well-Being centres and custody to build relationships and promote referral of clients to the service.
-Facilitate personal development groups and Peer Support groups to achieve social inclusion outcomes, including: motivation, self-esteem, stress management and individual support to work out steps to achieve identified goals as well as help to maintain or re-engage relationships. -Facilitate DBT skills development group programme to develop educational and vocational goals.
-The service adopts a trauma informed approach, in line with the NHS long-term plan.
The CCG currently has a contract in place with One Housing to provide the above services. The term of this contract is 6 months, 1st October 2021 - 31st March 2022 (value: £64,532.00). The CCG will assess the needs of the service users and consider how (if relevant) it needs to: -Secure the needs of the people who use the services.
-Improve the quality of the services.
-Improve the efficiency in the provision of the services including through the services being provided in an integrated way.
NWL CCG is considering options for making future arrangements for these services which may involve looking to tender the opportunity in the future. Any capable provider may come forward by 1st March 2022 to engage with the CCG.
If it is the case that One Housing is the only provider capable of delivering the services described, then the CCG will look to award a further contract to One Housing for up to 12 months starting on 1st April 2022.
During 2022, it is anticipated that NWL CCG will be succeeded by an Integrated Care Board (ICB). Any future contract and/or procurement opportunity may therefore be in the name of the ICB.
