CPB130 Supply of Building and Plumbing Materials

The tender is to supply a range of building and plumbing materials to meet the requirements of Derbyshire County Council and any other Local Authority who wishes to opt-in to the contract. The successful contractor will be expected to provide a next day delivery service and the facility to allow the Council operatives to collect materials at very short notice.

The building and plumbing materials will be delivered to various different establishments throughout Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire.

Tenderers are required to download and complete the attached tender documentation and submit along with all the requested information including their price schedule

Additional information: Derbyshire County Council is seeking competent organisation to supply a range of building and plumbing materials in accordance with the attached documentation.

Tenderers are required to complete the attached documentation and upload as part of their tender submission. The award of this particular contract will be to one successful organisation that is able to service the Council requirements for the whole of Derbyshire.

Submissions will NOT be accepted via E-mail, all tenders MUST be submitted through the Due North East Midlands Tendering Portal to include their completed documentation and any further information requested.

The contract is for the supply of a specified range of building and plumbing materials required to meet needs of the Corporate Property operations section working throughout the County of Derbyshire in three main geographical business areas as follows:

North West Derbyshire (Including Staffordshire Moorlands Area) ? Lot Area 1 North East Derbyshire ? Lot Area 2

Central & South Derbyshire ? Lot Area 3

The above areas are detailed on the map (appendix D) which forms part of the tender documentation. Tenderers may bid to supply to one or more of the Geographical areas.

In addition Corporate Property is continuously looking for new business opportunities which could lead its operations outside the County boundaries of Derbyshire into the City of Derby, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire. This may mean that materials will need to be supplied to locations in these areas. The successful supplier may be required to assist with the specification of materials. Potential suppliers will be required to demonstrate their commitment to resource the demands of the contract.
