Introduction: This is an Invitation to Tender (ITT) with information, instructions and guidance provided in this document. Tender submission (consisting of the completion of the Online Supplier Questionnaire, Technical Response, and Commercial response documents) should be completed and returned by all Tenderers who wish to bid for the contract. Please note, throughout the Tender documentation the University of Nottingham will be referred to as 'UoN'.

Synopsis: The UoN requests tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified suppliers to establish a contract for the manufacture, delivery, installation, commissioning and training of a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

Objectives: To establish a contract for the Coordinate Measuring Machine and ensure strategic developments such as:

  • oEnsure Value for Money
  • oConfirm Timeline for Delivery and Installation
  • oEliminate the risk of modern-day slavery within the supply chain.

Estimated Value: The total budget for the goods is ?180,000 - ?250,000 depending on the options for a fully installed and commissioned machine.

Non-compliant expressions of interest (EOI) will not be considered or acknowledged. The university reserves the right to cancel the tender process at any stage. The University does not accept any liability for any costs incurred in tendering.

Internet Explorer (not Mozilla Firefox) should be used and pop ups must be allowed.

Click on CREATE NEW CORRESPONDENCE once you have logged on to the Web site and follow the instructions. Select send message via web option rather than by email option as this is received by the host company not directly to UoN.
