Stevenage Borough Council are tendering for Decent Homes 2020 Contracts. We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Service Providers to enter into term partnering arrangements for the delivery of Decent Homes works to its housing stock. The approximate total value of the works required is £2.3million per annum however this budget is indicative only and there is no guarantee of the volume of work.

The works typically comprise of work within the following streams:

Kitchen Replacements

Bathroom Replacements

Boiler and Central Heating Replacements

Electrical upgrades and re-wiring

Level access showers

Door and Window replacements

Roofing

Insulation/EWI Works

Stevenage's requirement is to select two Service Providers that are appropriate to undertake these works under 3-year Term Partnering Contracts (with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years). Full details are in the procurement documents.

Whilst it is Stevenage's intention to deliver the works described through these contracts, it reserves the right to work with other organisations and Service Providers should be aware that Stevenage retains a significant internal Service Provider that may deliver works during the contract period. Details of property types are noted within the procurement documents.

SBC is holding a bidders day on 3 October 2019 in Stevenage, times and location will be confirmed via the portal. There is a limit to 2 attendees per company and we would appreciate it if you could advise your attendees via the portal. Please note the deadline for SQ return and allow sufficient time to make your return as late returns will not be permitted.
