description
In 2018, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) carried out quantitative research among UK businesses to gather insights on understanding and awareness of competition law to:
- a)inform compliance communication targeting and strategies in order to promote adherence, or compliance, to competition law on the part of businesses,
- b)provide a benchmark to measure the effectiveness and impact of compliance campaigns going forward.
The CMA wishes to commission two new waves of comparable research to measure changes in competition law awareness and understanding in the construction sector as a result of enforcement cases that investigate possible infringements of the law and of efforts to educate the sector about the law.
In addition, we are keen to gather fresh insights into the attitudes of audiences to help shape ongoing and future compliance work.
