GB-Bath: Gas Regulators

The University purchase a quantity of regulators each year for the various gases that are used in a laboratory setting. These regulators have a variable amount of usage depending on how they are used. After 5 years the regulators are written off and disposed of in line with their expiry date. We are looking to see if any suppliers can service or replace perishable components on the regulators to prolong the life so that we can realise more value from the regulators. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.
