Office Alterations to two existing buildings in Weymouth, Dorset

Expressions of Interest are sought for Internal alterations and refit of two buildings in the Weymouth area, as follows:

New Weymouth & Portland Borough Council offices, Commercial Rd (Weymouth town centre) – Internal demolition of existing partitions

Refit of the existing building in the town centre

Installation of new air conditioning, data cabling and electrics along dado trunking Repair work to the existing masonry walls

Replacement of roof tiles and flat roofing.

Installation of swipe cards and panic alarms, and connection to a BMS

Installation of hearing loops and of microphones and webcasting infrastructure to a committee room External works include construction of a flagpole and fitting of a buggy park

Crookhill offices Chickerell –

Refit of an existing working depot including installation of new data cabling and electrics along dado trunking and ceiling voids Construction of a new server room.

Construction of 6 no. new windows and insulation to existing roof space and walls.

Installation of swipe cards

External works include construction of a motorbike park and road crossings with speed bumps.

This office is a working depot for refuse collection and staff will need to be accommodated during the works, so it needs to be carefully phased.
