GB-Salisbury: Signal and Spectrum Analyser

This Notice is a VTN / Voluntary Transparency Notice. This Notice advises that the Authority has decided to negotiate a contract with Rohde and Limited for the supply of Quantity One x Rohde & Schwarz FSW26 Signal and Spectrum Analyzer with the following factory fitted options:

FSW-B24 RF preamplifier, 30dB

FSW-B160R Real-time spectrum analyser with 80MHz to 160Mhz bandwidth extension

This particular vendor has been selected asthe Authority requires the near Real-time functionality that only the FSW26 along with the FSW-B160R offers. Added to this, Authoruty staff have created over time a library of software scripts that run complex experiments that can be stored within the memory area of the analyzer. This allows multiple measurement runs to be conducted in the fraction of the time. Rohde & Schwarz are the only Vendor, in this instance, who can provide a Spectrum Analyser to enable the requirements of the Authority to be met.. The Authority are being offered an Ex Demonstration Unit, that will provide the value for money the organisation will require but will not compromise on the aftercare that would be attached to purchasing a new unit.
