***** THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE, NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION *****
This procurement is being concluded following a mini competition under the CCS RM6187 Framework.
Brief Description of Requirement
The purpose of the project is to review and design the Investment Directorate's organisational structure and key elements of its strategy and processes to best enable the directorate to deliver on the UKSA 'Catalyse Investment' Value Proposition. The project has been given set high-level priorities to deliver. In order to achieve these priorities, end-state objectives have been agreed as part of the agreement and baselining of the Project Initiation Document. Workstreams have been set up and these objectives have been grouped according to the most suitable workstream for them to be housed in.
The Catalyse Investment Project is made up of five workstreams:
| 1. | Investment Decisions & Funding Management - covering UKSA Investment Framework, investment decisions and funding management process design, and potential skills/resourcing. |
| 2. | Investment Directorate Organisational Design - to design future-state fit-for-purpose Investment Directorate. |
| 3. | Commercial Innovation - to give UKSA authority to offer new commercial support mechanisms, and to coordinate a holistic solution for Grant Management. |
| 4. | Space Catalyst Fund (SCF) - to set up new matchmaker programme and create a front-door to direct interested stakeholders to appropriate national or ESA innovation funds. |
| 5. | Partnerships and Partner Management - to understand how best UKSA should manage its partners/stakeholders to catalyse investment in the space sector. |
