Culture & Leisure - Seafront Winter Catering Concessions 2022/2023

The Council is seeking to award 2 catering concessions contracts over the winter period for one pop up kiosk and one mobile unit which can include hot and cold food and drink provision.

All concessions would be expected to start Friday 1st October 2022 and to be on site until 26th March 2023 (Approx 6 mth period)

The sites are located as follows:

a - Clarence Esplanade - between South parade pier & The Briny (Kiosk) b - Duisburg Way (Mobile unit)

Suppliers can bid for either one or more sites. If bidding for multiple sites, where the offer varies between the sites bid for then suppliers must clearly identify each site proposal in their responses to the quality questions on the application form.

The concession provider will be expected to:

• cover all costs associated with the running of the catering unit
• provide their own power to run any mobile unit
• to remove any waste generated as a result of the catering unit from the site at the end of each day and provide suitable waste bins as necessary to manage waste from their sales

Please note: The Council are unable to accept stalls that sell alcohol

These contracts are deemed concessions as they generate an income to the Authority.
