Gully Survey 2016

Wigan Council is seeking a contractor to complete a survey of highway gullies of the A, B, C and Unclassified carriageway network (total network length 1,040km) surveying 58,000 gullies.

The works will be carried out under the terms and conditions of the Engineering and Construction Contract (ECSC), Third Edition, published in June 2005 with amendments 2006 by the Institution of Engineers. Tenderers must familiarise themselves with these conditions and any modifications or additions made.

The contract period stated in this notice (15 months) includes a twelve month defect period. The actual highway gully survey shall commence 25th April 2016 and be completed by 31st July 2016.

The closing date of Friday 8th April 2016 at 17:00 is the deadline for the completion and return of final tender submissions

Additional information: Wigan Council is using the e-procurement portal known as The Chest at https://www.the-chest.org.uk/ to conduct the procurement exercise.
