As part of Hull City Council's commitment to deliver early support and intervention to improve health outcomes and provide effective alcohol and drug interventions we are looking to commission clinician input for the Young People's Substance Misuse Service, known as ReFRESH. The GP with a Special Interest in Substance Misuse (GPwSI) will provide pharmacological approaches based upon individually assessed need, with a range of clinical responses specifically for substance misuse including pharmacological approaches for detoxification, stabilisation and reduction regimes, with integrated psychiatric and/or psychological and physical care. The GPwSI will attend a weekly Tuesday Morning Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) meeting for 2 hours a week for approximately 46 weeks per year.
